Most people entering the Private Security Industry get their Door Supervision Training and License which qualifies them for Security Guarding as well - even though they have not had the 10 hours of Working as a Security Officer Training.
This five day course provides you with the qualification required to apply for your licence in Door Supervision - providing manned security in non-licensed premises such as offices, retail and industrial estates as well as licensed premises such as pubs, clubs and stadia.
However you will also receive the 10 hours Working as a Security Officer training that is normally ignored by the Door Supervision course.
If need to renew your SIA Door Supervisor Badge, see Upskilling Door Supervisors Course.
5 days, plus 12 hours pre-course work.
4 multiple-choice exams and a Practical Assessment.
Successful candidates will receive a Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry and an Attendance Certificate for Working as a Security Officer
